Become a Member

Join British Emunah and you will enjoy events in your local area as well as national events, receive our annual newsletter and our essential and highly popular "little blue diary". Membership is for a calendar year and is only £15 per year.

We would also like to offer you the opportunity of becoming a Life Member, for £200 you will receive all of the above, however this gives you the satisfaction that you have done something substantial by becoming a partner of an organisation that does so much for so many, throughout Israel.

We have groups across the country that meet and take part in social and fundraising activities. You can choose to join one of these groups or alternatively you could become a Direct member and receive all your Emunah information directly from Head Office.

    British Emunah is a UK registered charity which relies entirely on donations to support 37 Emunah projects in Israel. Set up in 1933 by a group of British women who wanted to provide practical help for children escaping Nazi persecution, today Emunah has developed services to meet the very different problems faced by the thousands of Israeli children who are ‘at risk’

    Emunah Day Care Centres are an important part of everyday life for many Israeli families, some of whom are unable to care for their children throughout the day, perhaps due to illness or drug addiction.

    Emunah in Israel supports over 10,000 children on a daily basis by providing residential homes, high schools, day care and family support centres as well as trauma therapy and counselling centres. Emunah is one of the primary social welfare organisations in Israel and in 2008 was awarded the prestigious ‘Israel Prize’ for lifetime achievement and exceptional contribution to the nation.

    Emunah operates unique educational facilities for girls, combining general studies with Torah education.

    If you are travelling to Israel and would like to see for yourself the magnificent work that Emunah does, then you are more than welcome to visit one of our 26 centres.

  • Family Support

    Family Support

    Emunah’s Family Support Centres provide therapeutic support to help families so that children are not taken ‘into care’. Working with expert social workers and counsellors, parents are shown the most basic of parenting skills and the children are cared for by trained Emunah staff.
