What better to inspire our trekkers before they started than by meeting and having dinner with the children in the Sara Herzog Children's Home in Afula.

21 women between the ages of 45 to 75 years young spent 3.5 days trekking, climbing and challening all their inner strengths through beautiful landscapes to raise much needed funds for the new relocated Sara Ronson Crisis and Intervention Centre in Sderot.  This is going to be a state of the art therapy centre which will serve not only Sderot but all the surrounding communities who have to deal with living under the constant threat to their lives.

The ladies trekked through Nahal Amud one day, to Meitzad Abirim down the Kziv Valley and through the Tamir Spring finishing off at Hardalit Spring on another, up and down Mount Meron on a third and finally reached our destination of the crystal blue Mediterranean Sea in Rosh Hanikra.
