Our family have been supporting Emunah for years but this is a challenge for me to experience. I have grown up seeing my grandparents and parents always raising money for worth while charities. As most of you know i work with children and so therefore this charity is very close to my heart. My grandma passed away before Rosh Hashanah and so I am doing the walk in her memory Esther.
Emunah staff in Israel work around the clock to support children and vulnerable adults and I would like to do a little to help them. The money raised on this walk will go towards setting up a new Crisis and Therapy Centre in Sderot to give expert professional care to people who are unable to fund this care for themselves. So any donation, no matter how small, will go to people who really need a helping hand to walk their own path.

I will be trekking across Israel, from the Kinneret to the Mediterranean Sea, to help Emunah raise money to provide counselling and therapeutic services at Emunah’s Sarah Ronson Trauma and Crisis Centre in Sderot, a small town less than 1 mile away from the Gaza border. Due to the security situation there has been a massive increase in referrals from those
suffering from extreme anxiety and post-traumatic stress syndrome. The aim is to move the centre to new larger premises, to be able to give vital help to the local population.

Emunah provides crucial services for Israel’s most vulnerable children. Please take a look at website www.emunah.org.uk to find out more about the
work Emunah does.

Thank you for reading this and for giving towards this amazing charity.
