About us Vacancies Event & Community Fundraising Manager NEW VACANCY:Event & Community Fundraising Manager at British Emunah Do you have a passion for creating impactful events and a heart for social justice?British Emunah supports Israels most vulnerable and endangered children and families, helping to make their lives better. Emunah creates a safe and loving environment for all our children in residential homes, high schools, therapeutic and day care centres. We enable the disadvantaged to flourish and grow by providing support, trauma therapy, education and training in our community and therapy centres. Since October 7th we have had to change the way, we support many of our families by looking at alternative ways of therapy and supporting the healing process which may take years.In this key role, you'll play a pivotal role in:• Developing a strategic event portfolio: Craft engaging events to cultivate major donors, raise awareness within the Jewish community, and generate vital funds for our cause.• Event Management: Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for attendees.• Marketing and Promotion: Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote British Emunah and its events through various channels, working alongside our social media co-ordinator and CEO.• Donor Relations: Partner with the CEO to cultivate relationships with major donors and identify new supporters within the Jewish community.About You: • 3-5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within the non-profit sector.• A proven track record of developing and executing successful fundraising events.• Strong understanding of event budgets and financial management.• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills• Ability to work in a small team is essential • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.• A passion for Emunah mission • Experience working with the Jewish community (desirable).What We Offer: • Competitive salary of £40,000 – £45,000 five-day week (4 days a week will be considered pro-rata) • Opportunity to make a real difference for Israelis • Be part of a passionate and dedicated team• Occasional weekend and evening work Ready to join us?We encourage applications from passionate individuals who are excited to make a difference.
