Services for at-risk and disadvantaged children in Israel got a welcome boost from over £3,600 raised at British Emunah’s Bridge Lunch on Thursday 14 March. Sixty people played duplicate and rubber bridge at the charity tournament held at Central Square Minyan, Hampstead Garden Suburb. The winners were Lorraine Bushell and Valerie Espir. “It was an enjoyable social occasion and we are grateful to everyone who took part and supported us,” said British Emunah chairman Rosalyn Liss. The event was sponsored in memory of Betty Blinder, a bridge-lover and Emunah supporter.
