Neve Landy Children’s Village

Even Shmuel

Built in 2003 as a residential centre for 48 severely disturbed and dysfunctional children who cannot be cared for in any other residential home, this complex provides a home for traumatised children, from across the entire religious spectrum.

Here they learn – through specialist attention, love and understanding – how to heal the scars of their abusive past and set themselves on the road to recovery. Essential in their rehabilitation is the provision of a variety of therapy treatments including music, drama, art, horse-riding, animal welfare, as well as fundamental psychological counselling.Presentation 2

For each child there is an individual programme of study, counselling, therapy and enrichment specially designed to meet their particular needs. Neve Landy requires a counsellor who can watch over children at night. This is especially required to prevent children from ‘wandering’ into the beds of others leading to inappropriate behaviour.

This complex consists of many facilities comprising Beit Clare Cohen, Beit Shmuel, Beit Avraham, Beit Fala Weinstock, Beit Dyna & Fala Weinstock Petting Zoo and the Doris and Bertie Black Sports Field.
